PTR Industries, Inc. Firearms Limited Lifetime Warranty

Warranty Coverage:

All firearms produced by PTR Industries, Inc. (PTR) come with a limited lifetime warranty for the original purchaser under the following conditions:

  • The firearm was purchased from an Authorized PTR Dealer within the United States.
  • The warranty card is duly filled out and returned to PTR.
  • The firearm is consistently maintained as per the guidelines provided in the operator’s manual.

Scope of the Warranty:

  • PTR, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace any firearm found to be defective due to materials or workmanship.
  • Warranty-covered repairs, including shipping, are free of charge.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage:

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Improper use or unreasonable treatment of the firearm.
  2. Failure to adhere to maintenance guidelines.
  3. Disregard for instructions in the owner’s manual, including cleaning and breaking in.
  4. Incorrect installation of original PTR parts.
  5. Use of non-PTR parts.
  6. Damage caused by rust, corrosion, or obstructions within the barrel. Note: PTR will determine what constitutes unreasonable use.
  7. All wooden components and accessories.
  8. Cosmetic and finish flaws.

Unapproved alterations, or the use of non-original PTR parts, will void the warranty. PTR will not entertain claims arising from using faulty or nonstandard ammunition or those not aligned with NATO or SAAMI specifications.

PTR is not liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages for any reason, including warranty breaches, negligence, etc. Products purchased for use by law enforcement, military, or similar bodies for official duties are exempt from this warranty and are covered by a separate one-year warranty.

Service Procedures:

  1. Initiating a Warranty Claim: Before shipping any product, contact PTR to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number at:

Important Reminders:

  • NEVER ship live ammunition with the firearm.
  • Only send shipments with a valid RMA. Shipments without an RMA or C.O.D. shipments won’t be accepted.
  • Warranty or repair inquiries require registering your firearm or related parts on PTR’s website. Without registration, claims or repairs will be automatically declined.
  • After registering, submit your warranty claim using the provided form. PTR will then email further instructions, including the RMA# and shipping details.

Always check with PTR’s customer service before shipping any products for repair or replacement. Improper procedures may lead to the warranty’s nullification at PTR Industries’ discretion.
